Lagos, Nigeria − Paga, Nigeria's number 1 way to pay and get paid today announced it was now available to 16 million Etisalat customers on their SIM cards through Etisalat Easy Wallet.
The partnership will provide Etisalat customers with the option of using Paga to send and receive money (from ₦500 to ₦100, 000), pay bills, pay for goods and services (shopping) and buy airtime all from their existing SIM − no need to get a new SIM.

Paga has, in a short period, demonstrated its ability to deliver innovative solutions to all Nigerians. We are excited to welcome Paga onto our platform and offer our customers more reasons to use Etisalat."
Commenting on the partnership, Tayo Oviosu, founder and CEO of Paga stated "This relationship builds on Paga's goal to bring more convenient ways to access your cash, anywhere, anytime irrespective of whether you have a bank account. Paga works on all mobile networks and we allow you to have up to five phone numbers tied to the same Paga account. With this partnership you can access your Paga account right from your Etisalat SIM card. Now you can be at home and get rid of that annoying DStv E16 message by paying subscription using Paga on your Etisalat SIM and your television turns on immediately. We are excited to work with Etisalat and look forward to growing our partnership."
Etisalat customers can access Paga services for different transactions such as money transfers, buying airtime, as well as paying bills like DStv from their Etisalat SIM. This is the first of many innovations Paga will be announcing with Etisalat.
Existing Paga customers using Etisalat numbers will also be able to access their Paga account from Easy Wallet. The same Paga account can also be accessed via other Paga channels − SMS, online (including mobile web) and, coming soon, mobile phone applications and USSD.
In partnering with Etisalat, Paga continues its rapid and far−reaching progression towards bringing secure and easy to use transfer and payments services to all Nigerians. In just less than 34 months of commercial operations Paga now has over 1 million users and over 3,500 agents in 150 towns across 23 cities nationwide; making Paga the leading mobile payments service in Nigeria.
