Tayo Oviosu
Founder, CEO

Tayo has over twelve years of experience in a variety of technical and business roles in High-tech and Private Equity. Most recently, he was Vice President at Travant Capital Partners where he was responsible for executing the firm‘s investment strategy in West Africa.

Prior to joining Travant, Tayo was a Manager, Corporate Development, at Cisco Systems in San Jose California. In that role, he was responsible for strategy, acquisitions, and private equity investments in four technology sectors - Virtual Computing, Application Networking, Security, and Network Management. Tayo also helped lead Cisco‘s investment expansion in Africa. At Cisco, Tayo led numerous acquisition and private equity investment opportunities, including the $130m acquisition of Reactivity, and investments in Aquantia (10G Base-T, Series A), and Guardium (Database Security, recently sold to IBM). Tayo was also responsible for the private sale of 22% of Cisco‘s South African operations to a consortium of investors in 2007.

Prior to Cisco, Tayo was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting in the CRM and Technology practice. At Deloitte he worked on cases in five industries – high tech, telecom, pharmacy retail, government, and healthcare. He was primarily responsible for leading technical implementation teams.

Tayo also had stints at start-ups Biomorphic VLSI as a Semiconductor Chip Design Engineer, and Event411 as a Software Engineer.

Tayo earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, cum laude, from the University of Southern California. He also has a Masters in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University.

Jay Alabraba
Co-Founder, Head Sales and Distribution

Jay is a co-founder of Pagatech. Jay has over a decade of work experience spanning the High-Tech, Pharma and Financial Services sectors. Before joining Pagatech, he managed a Mergers & Acquisitions investment banking team at BGL Plc in Lagos, Nigeria. Jay began his career as a Program Manager at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington, where he led a cross-functional team that received several patent awards for innovative work in the anti-piracy and data protection arena. In 2004, he accepted a fellowship in Global Marketing at Eli Lilly & Co., a US-based pharmaceutical company. In that role, he managed projects for the Neuroscience drug marketing units in North America and Europe. Jay joined Goldman Sachs as an MBA summer intern in 2006, and rejoined the firm as a full-time Investment Banking Associate in 2007.

Jay received his Bachelors degree (cum laude) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University. He has a Masters in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University.

Eric Chijioke
Chief Technical Officer

Eric Chijioke is a founding partner of Apposit and is responsible for leading the IT and product development for Pagatech. Eric has 12 years of experience in product development and software product management. Eric has designed and managed the implementation of mid to large scale risk management software systems for clients in the private financial and energy sectors, as well as several similar system development projects for agencies of the World Bank. Most recently, as Lead Systems Architect for the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Eric led the development of a nationwide, integrated financial management system for public finance in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development in Ethiopia.

Eric holds a Bachelor‘s Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, USA

Tega Omezi
Head of Finance

Tega has over a decade of experience in financial management, business advisory services, audit and assurance services, accounting system design and implementation and tax compliance.

Most recently Tega was the Manager Finance and Operations at Travant Capital Partners and Travant Real Estate Ltd. In those roles she led the teams that were responsible for both internal finance and deals being done at the Private Equity and Real Estate firms. Tega also helped restructure the company's financial affairs ensuring an efficient tax structure.

Prior to Travant, Tega worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the oil and gas and telecommunications industries where she was involved in regulatory compliance audit, taxation reviews, Sarbanes Oxley attestation reviews, and due diligence. She led various teams and assisted companies with making informed decisions on acquisitions.

Tega holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Lagos and qualified as a full member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK. She started her career in the UK where she worked for five years with the National Health Service and in the Financial Services Industry in management and finance positions. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
